Stephen and Jackie

I met Stephen and Jackie through my photography buddy David. David and I collaborate on different levels and you should start seeing pictures of events we work together soon.
We decided to have the shoot around 7am in order to get the sunrise. The shoot was around October but the weather was still nice.
The shot took around an hr with the beginning of the shoot being a little challenging but then things got easier as we went along.
David and I made a long list of dos and don'ts after the shoot. The list has been used ever since.
Enjoy!

Shenandoah

A bunch of us drove to Shenandoah National park for a hike last fall. After driving a few hours to the park, we had to drive another 2hrs in the park to get to our starting position. As we were entering the park, a lady at the gate told us it was foggy up the mountain but we ignored her and said she didnt know what she was talking about. Well, the lady ended up being right and our day was almost ruined. I say almost because we turned our hike into a "drive, stop and take a picture" event. We even made a few friends while taking pictures. Can't wait for the weather to change.

Enjoy.

Heart!

When I was in the UK for Xmas last year, I had around four shoots with my Sister and Bro in-law to be. Here is one of the pictures we took after getting home late one night...one SUPER cold night. I actually had to take a few shots (in the COLD) to get it right.

Folake, Titus and Zion

A few months ago, my Friends Folake and Titus had their first child. Folake and a few others call me butter because of a dish I made for our thanksgiving shindig a while back...long story.
I was delighted when I heard Folake was expecting. As soon as I heard she delivered, I called Titus to congratulate them.
Actually, I took pictures at their wedding and now its their daughter's naming ceremony...how nice.
In this day and age, parents need wisdom to bring up their children in the right way. So, Folake and Titus, my prayer is that you get wisdom to train Zion the right way.

Oh, they had some really nice jollof rice and fried plantain with moi-moi at the ceremony...cant forget that!
