It's ah Trini Lime!

So ah set ah us decided to have a taste of Trinidad. We decided to make plenty ah food. As we say, all us we Trini like Trini food! We had Pelau, Stew chicken, Roti - Dhalpurie and Buss up shot, Curry chicken, Aloo and channa ,Souse (Pig foot; my favorite!), chubby etc.

The set up looked so good I didnt even know where to start. Instead of wasting time I started taking pictures. To top it all up, we watched Paul Blart the Mall Cop (hillarious).

Community life is sweet! Hanging out with good pple, eating top notch food, sharing life...

For all those who are wondering...I's a true Trini Man!!

Its Official!

So it's official! I got my first "not free" gig this past wknd. My friends Akin and Amy got married and they asked me to help them document their day.
I'd been a background/second shooter at Omo and Lisa's wedding exactly 1yr ago but this was a different ball game cause of all the thing I now know to look out for.
Overall, it was a confidence boosting gig. I now feel I can take on the world!

Happy married life Akin and Amy!

JEMOWEN - 2

So Jon and Emily (link) invited me over for another photo session. This time, we decided to do outdoor pix since the weather was nice. "Luckily" for us it was 94 degrees i.e. burning.

Glad this was more of a R and D session cause I was able to work on my fill flash usage. First few shots were HORRIBLE but then I ended on a good note.

As always, I am hoping JEMOWEN invite me back for another session. Thanks again JEMOWEN!

Enjoy the pix!

Liam!

So Liam turned 1 last week. This might sound like just another bday but it was a retrospective time for me. I've known Liam's parents for a while and I even have a pix of me holding Liam when he was born.
Liam can now say light because his mom points to light sources and says light. This emphasizes the need for us to help the newer/upcoming generation in the right direction. For us to help others, we need to have our matters in good shape.

Note to self: start getting things in shape!

By the way, Liam is a super energetic kid. He is always laughing and walking around touching everything.
