Another Day in DC!

So, Juma(http://flowfotoblog.com/) was in town this past wknd. We knew he was coming to town so we planned a photo outing. It was 6 of us. Although the event for pix taking, it gave us an opportunity to get to know each other a little more.

I also got a lot more confident with shooting in the manual mode.

It looks like I never get tired of shooting in DC!

Pancho!

So, I was in Guadalajara for a couple days in July. While there, I tried to capture everything I saw. Right as we were about to go see the Mariachis, we saw a group of pple gathered together in a huge circle. I got my camera and started snapping away. Little did I know that it was a clown show and I stood out like a sore thumb. The clown running the show picked me out to participate. I speak very little Spanish and he spoke pokito ingles (for context). He called me Pancho Villa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francisco_"Pancho"_Villa) cause of the sombrero-like thing I was wearing. Anyways, it was a very hilarious 30mins of Spanish comedy (which I understood 1/10 of). There is a lot more to the story but...
