Red Corvette!

So, while I was attempting to make my way back to the metro from Old Town Alexandria I saw this car. Seeing the car brought Prince's Little Red Corvette song to my mind. Every time I went through my pix and saw the car, I found myself singing Little Red Corvette in Prince's high pitched voice.

I don't even think the car is a corvette...but u get my drift!

Old Town Alexandria

So, I decided to make a trip to Old Town on Sunday. I had been thinking about taking pix there for a while but the drop that made my cup "runeth over" came on Saturday when I dropped a bunch of friends off for a cruise.

I took the Old Town trolley from the King St metro to the water front and then attempted to walk back to the metro (uhm!).

As usual, it was good exercise, R and D and some fun pix.

DC

So, I go to DC(Washington DC) all the time to take pix. Most of the time, I wonder how the pix will look at night. Then when I think more I wonder how safe it is to carry my treasured photo taking possession around at night.

A couple weeks ago I decided to do a dry run. I took my old Olympus and stepped out around 8pm and was out till a little after 10. It was actually very relaxing and I also had my workout for the whole week.

It looked busy up till 10 because of the tourists. I guess I am ready and will be going to take some night shots with Mr. Incrediblee in the next couple weeks.

Ryan and Christen

So Ryan is Amy(first not free gig/first wedding)'s brother. I saw Ryan and his wife Christen at Amy and Akin's wedding. I found their dress sense very striking so I asked if I could take a few pix.

We went by the fountain, I told them to pretend I wasn't there and I snapped away.

Pls note the piece of art on Ryan's head; it inspired the shoot.
